John Guthrie is a passionate educator with a wealth of experience in edtech. He is dedicated to educating children through an integrated curriculum that ties technology to authentic experiences.John holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master of Educational Technology from Boise State University. He was fortunate to have his education financed by the Marine Corps through the G.I. Bill.John reoriented himself towards educational technology later in life, after having spent several years in the Marines and in construction as a millwright in auto plants and in power plants. He could not be happier to have entered this new vocation, which is now at the center of his life’s work.
